Two split stereograms quickly and conveniently test for suspensions in the paramacular area – outside of the central cornea. Also an aid in the detection of diplopia (double vision).

    • Test includes two cards: a white fixation star on black, and a peripheral white ring on black

    • Cards are adjusted laterally until the patient sees the star in the center of the ring.

  • The test is performed twice at far point, switching the cards. If the patient sees any part of the ring disappear, a suppression exists.
