Description
5218 Far Point Combination Phoria Test
This test gauges the far-point effectiveness of a patient’s visual phoria – the “resting” position of the eyes, or where the eyes will focus when not fixed on a specific object.
- The target measures both lateral (horizontal) and vertical phorias using prism diopters (in ½ diopter steps).
- Lateral range is 9 diopters esophoria (eyes focusing inward, such as with “cross eyed” patients) and 9 diopters exophoria (eyes focusing outward, such as with a “wall eyed” patient)
