A simple yet precise method for determining which is an individual’s controlling eye.

  • Tests eyes together and separately (with occlusion). The controlling eye will score better on the binocular part of the test. The non-controlling eye will show greater gain when the controlling eye is occluded.

  • Uses one target – the patient identifies the position of a dot in one of three diamonds.

  • Provides Snellen equivalent values of 20/100 to 20/15
