Esophoria

Esophoria – commonly referred to as “being cross-eyed” or underconvergence – occurs when the two eyes do not aim simultaneously at the same object and instead point in different directions – in this case inward. Esophoria impacts binocular vision – the ability of both eyes to work together – and depth perception.
