Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common condition, often occurring with near-sightedness or far-sightedness, where all of the rays of light entering the eye do not focus on the same plane, resulting in out of focus vision. The cause is unknown. A minor degree of astigmatism is considered normal and does not need correction.
